I would like to remove the stabilizer bar from my 16' two seater canoe and replace it with a third seat. depth of canoe is 12" width is 37"and length is 16'.can i do this leagaly? Will this cause structural problems? sam

Sam, I don't think you can do that. A canoe needs a stabilizer bar...
